I stayed here with my wife and could not fault the service we received. On arrival the greeting was friendly and informative. The room had been recently renovated with all new flooring and fittings. The bed was very comfortable and the amenities provided were excellent. The room was nice and quiet with little or no traffic noise. Located near or not too far from eateries and shops. This is one Motel I will stay at again if I’m in the area. Well done to the new owners.

Decided to travel on a long weekend and pull up wherever we could find somewhere(big mistake) hoped to find somewhere closer to yass but everywhere was booked out. Hubby found a place in Queanbeyan one of fiew that fit our family of 5. Arrived at about 10.45pm and the caretaker came out and showed us to our room, which was very spacious and much more than we expected. The room was very clean, beds huge and comfy as were the pillows. Good spot for an overnighter or longer term as it was fully self contained, even had a washing machine.

Stayed for a short 5 hours but really enjoyed my time at Rainbow Motel Queanbeyan. The service was excellent and the attention to detail was great. Ken was especially kind and welcoming. Clean, comfortable, and perfect for a quick stop. I liked everything — highly recommend!

Very clean motel, convenient short stay near Canberra, lovely owner and good customer service. Comfortable beds. As it is on a main road you can expect some traffic noise but I still had a very comfortable nights sleep. We had a king room like a small apartment and it was very clean and spacious.

In short - this place is fantastic. I would recommend staying here to anyone. I more or less live in motels. For 3 weeks out of every month I'm away from home for work. I stay in some alright places and some really dodgy places. The Rainbow Motel doesn't align with either of those. I'm staying in one of the Family rooms, and I was blown away by the cleanliness, modernity and comfort of the room, especially because I've paid the same price for other motels and had an awful experience. The beds are comfortable, and the full kitchen is a welcome addition, especially to those living on the road like me. All the appliances are more modern than the ones I have at home and the drawers and cupboards have every utensil and pot and pan you'll need. How good is the dishwasher too? The washing machine/dryer available in the room (no coins needed - it's free!) is awesome. I don't think I've ever stayed in a motel with that feature, especially not offered for free. I really cannot recommend these rooms more. You'd be a fool to stay elsewhere. I've thought about it and tried hard to think of any down sides, and I'm being very picky about these - they're not actually massive issues. One is the water pressure in the bathroom. The flush on the toilet is a bit weak, and the shower dribbles more than it sprays out at you, but again I'm being picky. They're still more than usable, but if you're a fussy person about your shower then you might be a bit miffed. The other is the location. There can be a bit of noise from the road right outside, especially early evening, but it's not too bad. The motel isn't necessarily within walking distance of any restaurants or take aways either so if that's your jam you'll need to drive into town. But again, being picky. The pros of this room far outweigh those two things. Do yourself a favour and book into this place if you need to stay in Queanbeyan.

We had one night stay here and it was wonderful. I was very satisfied with how our hotel room was so clean. I felt like a home. Toilets and bathroom was very clean. Kitchen had everything you need. I definitely recommend this place. And yeah a parking lot within the motel. Definitely will book this place in the future. Thank you Rainbow Motel

Excellent Stay – Highly Recommended! I recently stayed at Rainbow motel during a visit to Canberra and had a fantastic experience. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The staff and Ken were friendly, professional, and went out of their way to ensure I felt welcome. The location was convenient, with easy access to local attractions and amenities. I would definitely recommend this motel to anyone looking for quality accommodation in Canberra.
